 | New clan commands, Player renaming, etc on 02-11-2010 by Sion | | | A new sub command has been added to the clan command - setattitude. This parameter (used as /clan setattitude [friendly|hostile|neutral] [clan]) allows you to designate members of the specified clan as appearing green (friendly), red (hostile), or white (neutral) in the contacts list. In addition, clans set as being friendly toward each other will be able to make use of any bases the other might own, whereas marking them as hostile will cause your base - and any defensive structures such as Weapon Platforms or Battleships you may have under your control - to attack any member of that clan that gets within range of them.
Also note that using a clan sub command without any parameters will now output usage information on that command - for example, entering /clan setattitude will kick out a help message explaining the usage and options specific to that sub command. The /help command has been similarly reworked.
Additionally, we are now - after a very long break - performing player renames. If the current rename functionality does not end up impacting server stability, we plan on implementing a /rename user command.
