Event rules/information | Player vs Player tournament held within the confines of Omicron Alpha, directly outside of Planet Malta. Interested players must arrive by the specified time and PM [Operator]Noggmoritz in game to declare their intention of participating.
Points of interest:
• 1 vs. 1
• Guns only. Missiles, Torpedoes, Mines, and Cruise Disruptors may not be used.
• Single elimination.
• Individual matches are best two-of-three. The Final round is best three-of-five.
• Nanobot/Shield batteries will be disabled for the event's duration.
• Disrupting the event while it is in progress will not be tolerated.
• All participants must be running ProcyonHook to ensure that there is no cheating or use of unauthorized client side modifications.
• A considerable credit bonus (TBA) will be given to players who place (1st/2nd/3rd) without using Nomad weapons.
In addition to the above specified credit prizes, the following supplementary prizes are being offered:
• Custom ship light setup.
• Full neutral reputation.
• Full navmap revealed.
The player that wins first place will select one of the above prizes. The second place winner will then select one of the two remaining prizes, leaving the third place winner with the leftovers. Note that the custom light setup is subject to administrative review and approval - blinding lights will not be allowed. |
